This live underwater camera showcases the rich marine biodiversity in KAUST’s own backyard. Our high-definition underwater camera is located at the University’s Nature Conservation Area near the King Abdullah Monument. Broadcasting during daylight hours, it has helped highlight some of our local biodiversity and serves as an educational tool for the KAUST community.

Use Fishkam Live As Your Screensaver
For MAC/Windows:
  • After you install the software, open “Screen Saver Settings”( Windows) or open System Preferences and go to “Display & Screen Saver” (MAC) on your computer.
  • You will first need to download, open and install a free software such as “Live Screensaver Creator” or any other (.scr files). These software let you add URLs and set the screensaver, as this option is not natively to Windows.
  • Under the screensaver tab, from the options given, select the option of the newly installed app (eg: “Web-Page-Screensaver”)
  • Configure settings and press ok.
  • Click on Settings and “Add URL” the FISHKAM link
